Crew chiefs
marshal F-15E Strike Eagles to their parking spaces at Royal Air Force
Base Lakenheath, England. The 492nd Fighter Squadron jets were returning
home from a two-week deployment to Graf-Isnatievo Air Base, Bulgaria,
where they took part in exercise Immediate Response. Airmen from the
48th Fighter Wing provided support at the joint, trilateral exercise
with the Bulgarian and Romanian militaries and U.S. Soldiers. The Airmen

An F-15 Eagle prepares for an exercise
Keen Sword 2005 mission here. The exercise, which ended Nov. 19, is
designed to further increase the defensive readiness of Japanese and
American forces through training in air, ground and sea operations, and
to improve interoperability between the countries. The aircraft is
