Seventeen years in the making, Lt. Col. David Iverson holds the
4,000 hours patch he can now wear after a 10.1 hour flight in an
F-15E Strike Eagle from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, to
Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, Jan. 11, 2010. Colonel Iverson
surpassed the milestone while en route to the United States to
participate in Red Flag 10-2 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
